The most rewarding part about being a dad is knowing that my children look to me for love, guidance, protection, and an example of what it means to be a good man. Watching them grow, learn, overcome challenges, and become their own people makes every sacrifice worth it. Being a dad pushes me to work harder, stay stronger, and become better not just for myself, but for them. My greatest reward is knowing that the love, values, and lessons I give them today can shape the people they become.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my children are watching me, learning from me, and depending on me. I want them to know what love, sacrifice, responsibility, strength, and perseverance look like. Even when life gets difficult, I want to keep showing up and giving them my best. My goal isn’t to be a perfect father—it’s to be a present one, and to leave my children with a foundation that helps them become strong, confident, loving, and successful adults.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use it to create stability and give my family a fresh start. I would first bring my housing and essential bills current so my wife and children have a secure home. I would also pay down urgent debts and obligations that have put significant pressure on my income. I would set aside an emergency fund so one unexpected expense doesn’t put my family in a crisis.
