The most rewarding part of being a dad is getting to watch my kids become who they are while knowing I get to help shape who they’ll become. It’s the little things, the hugs, bedtime stories, scraped knees, silly laughs, and hearing “Daddy” when they need someone. Being a dad has taught me that success isn’t measured by what I have, but by whether my kids grow up knowing they were loved, protected, supported, and that their dad was always there when it mattered.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my kids deserve a childhood they’ll look back on and know, without question, that they were loved. I know I won’t always get everything right, but I want them to remember a dad who showed up, listened, protected them, made them laugh, and never stopped trying. One day they’ll be grown, and I hope the love, lessons, and memories I give them today help shape the parents and people they become tomorrow.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to create experiences with my kids that we’ll talk about for the rest of our lives. I’d take them somewhere they’ve never been, let them experience things they’ve only seen in pictures, and make memories together without worrying about the cost. The rest would go toward giving our family a stronger foundation. My kids are only little once, and I want to make the most of these years while I have them.
