The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my girls become who they are meant to be. My 9yr old has taught me a completely different meaning of strength, patience, and unconditional love. Living with a rare condition like Bohring-Opitz has brought challenges, but every smile, milestone, and moment of progress feels like a victory worth celebrating. My 5yr old amazes me with how smart, curious, and determined she is. She reads, writes, and know more than 50 sight words. ITS TRULY AMAZING.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best because my daughters deserve a father who will always show up. I want them to know that no matter what life puts in front of them, they will never have to face it alone. My daughters have both taught me lessons I never knew I needed to learn. One has taught me perseverance and the beauty of celebrating every milestone, while the other constantly reminds me how incredible curiosity, intelligence, and determination can be. I want them to know security, love, and care. 4EVER
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the $25,000 to create a better future and more opportunities for my daughters. A portion would go toward making sure my 9yr old has everything she needs to continue thriving and reaching her milestones, while also supporting my 5yr old’s education and curiosity. I would also put some toward creating special experiences for them, such as things they can remember for the rest of their lives; moments together, more opportunities to learn and grow, and more memories with their SUPER DAD.
