For me the most rewarding part is seeing the proud look on my daughter’s face when she finally figures out whatever missing “puzzle piece” in any current situation she needs to see the full picture. That fills me with radiant light and love.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I’ve always wanted to better than my dad and he instilled in me that availability was the best ability. I do what I do so whenever my daughter has a recital, performance, or game, she doesn’t even have to look in the stands and wonder if her dad is there cheering her on. She’ll always know. Her seeing me be her number one cheerleader is always the main priority.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d split it 3 ways. One third for a new truck so I can commute to work and my daughter’s school/events in a car made this decade! The second third I’d pay off student loans. And the final third I’d hold onto most of it as an emergency fund but only after seeing if my daughter has any fun ways to spend some of it!!!
