Being with the kids, nothing like coming home from a long work day and seeing everyone excited to run up and hug you. My kids are my world and the reason I do everything I do today.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I grew up in a split household but still had my dad around to teach me how to provide for my family and be a good father. I only want to improve myself everyday and be better for our kids. Show them that hard work really does pay off whenever you have the ethic and drive to do good in the world. My son and daughters look to me for guidance where they know I am needed and they are the purpose for my everyday.
How would you use the $25,000?
We would use it towards our family homestead but also give a small portion to charities for veterans and families that are affected by suicide and loss. We are a military family and it’s something we are proud of. The marine corps changed my wife and I for the better and we want to continue to grow our homestead and give to our veteran and local communities up in Alaska. We also run a sled dog kennel.
