The most rewarding part is realizing that the little things I almost overlook are the things they’ll remember. The hugs, the random conversations, the laughs, being the person they run to. There’s nothing like watching your kids become little people and knowing you get the privilege of shaping who they become. It’s exhausting, but there’s no greater responsibility or reward.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my kids are watching. I want them to grow up knowing they were loved, seen, and worth showing up for. I don’t want them to remember me only as the guy who worked hard to provide I want them to remember that I was there. My goal isn’t to be a perfect dad but to be the dad who keeps choosing his family, even when it’s hard.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use it to buy back time with my family. I’d put a portion toward our future, invest some into my business, and use the rest to create experiences with my wife and kids. I don’t need more stuff, I’d rather turn $25,000 into more freedom, more memories, and more time together while my kids are still little.
