The best part of being a dad is being a girl dad to my daughter, especially because I grew up without a dad of my own. I know what it feels like to wonder what a father’s love looks like, so I refuse to let my daughter ever wonder. I’ll show up, protect, teach, listen, pray, laugh, and love her fiercely. God gave me a daughter and, through her, gave me the opportunity to become the father I once needed.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I know what it feels like to grow up without a father. I can’t change what I didn’t have, but I can change what my daughter experiences. I want her to always know she is loved, protected, supported, and valued. Every day, I’m intentional about showing up, leading by example, and giving her the kind of fatherly love I once needed. Being her dad is one of God’s greatest blessings.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I were blessed with $25,000, I would first honor the Lord with His share, because every blessing I have comes from Him. Then I would use the remainder to grant my daughter’s wish of traveling to Europe for her 16th birthday. It wouldn’t just be a trip; it would be a memory we could cherish forever. As her dad, giving her the opportunity to experience new cultures, places, and God’s beautiful creation would be an incredible gift.
