The most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my kids become their own little people and knowing I get to be there for every step. The hugs, the laughs, the “Daddy, look!” moments—those are the things money can’t buy. Being a father has shown me a kind of love I never knew existed. No matter how hard life gets, coming home to my kids reminds me what I’m working for. Their happiness is my happiness, and seeing them smile makes everything worth it.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my kids are my reason to keep pushing forward. I’ve been through a lot in life, and I know what it feels like to struggle and not always have the support you need. I want my children to grow up knowing they are loved, protected, and supported no matter what. Every sacrifice I make, every long day I work, and every mistake I overcome is for them. I want to leave them with more than memories—I want to leave them with a better life.
How would you use the $25,000?
I will use the $25,000 to put a down payment on a home for me and my family. I have five beautiful kids and they deserve a forever home so that all of it will go on that so that they can have a place they can always come back to no matter what. A safe Haven.
