The most rewarding part is giving Noah the childhood I wish I had. Every adventure, every laugh, every time he feels safe enough to reach for my hand, a part of me heals too. I missed his first two years because I didn’t know he was my son, so I refuse to take the years I have with him for granted. I thought becoming a father meant I’d be the one teaching him about life. Instead, Noah taught me how to love, how to heal, and gave me a reason to become the man he deserves to call Dad.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I lost my dad when I was young, and he was my best friend. I learned far too early that we’re never promised enough time with the people we love. Now that I’m a father, I understand how precious every ordinary moment really is. I strive to be the best dad I can because one day, all Noah will have of his childhood are memories. I want his to be filled with a dad who showed up, loved him fiercely, and made sure he never had to wonder how much he meant to me.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to build Noah’s Trading Ark, a trading card company inspired by my son. What started as us collecting Pokémon together became something we genuinely bond over. I want to turn that love into a business we can build side by side—buying, trading, collecting and creating a community for other families. My dad was my best friend, but I lost him young. I want to spend the years I have with Noah building memories and something tangible together—something that can one day be his.
