The most rewarding part about being a dad is watching my daughters grow into their own people and knowing I get to play a part in that. Whether I’m coaching from the sidelines, helping them through a tough moment, or just making them laugh, I love being someone they can count on. Seeing them become more confident, independent, and kind makes me incredibly proud and being their dad is hands down the best role I’ll ever have.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my daughters are the most important part of my life. I know the example I set today will help shape the people they become tomorrow. I want them to always know that I showed up, supported them, encouraged them to chase their goals, and was someone they could count on no matter what. At the end of the day, if they grow up knowing how loved and supported they are, then I know I did my job.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d use the $25,000 to create experiences and memories with my daughters that we’ll talk about for the rest of our lives. As a dad, you realize pretty quickly how fast the years go by, so I’d love to take them on an incredible trip, let them help choose some of the adventures, and make it something that’s truly ours. I’d also put a portion aside for their futures. For me, the best way to spend it would be on a mix of memories we can make now and something that helps them later in life.
