The most rewarding part of being a dad is seeing my children become good, hardworking people who can take care of themselves and their families. I’ve always believed that the best way to teach is by example. Working with my hands, fixing what needs fixing, and always being there when my family needs me. Knowing my children learned something from me and seeing them succeed is worth more than anything.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Because being a father is the most important job I will ever have. My own family taught me that you work hard, keep your word, take care of your people, and never be afraid to get your hands dirty. I want my children to know that no matter how old they get, Dad will always be someone they can count on. I may not have all the answers, but I will always show up.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d take care of some things around the house, put some toward our family’s future, and most importantly, create memories together. I would also like to put some money towards fixing up the turtle sanctuary in the backyard.
