For me the most rewarding part is just being able to be and spend time with my son as he grows older. It’s a feeling that goes beyond word but my son is able to bring a smile and joy after a bad day. He’s 11 months old right now, the time has gone so quickly. We have done a few vacations together and that is what I cherish most, spending time and making memories.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive now only to be the best dad but the best person I can be to my family. I didn’t have a father around as a child and around 14 I was taken in by a family. I want to be a dad where when he looks back years down the road he’ll be able to remember the fun times, the sad times, the hard times but know I was always there by his side.
How would you use the $25,000?
We would donate some to our church, then put the majority into a savings account and take a family trip with the rest.
