The ability to grow with my daughters and wife as a parent, farmer and human being. But so far it’s hearing my near 3 year old discover new words and say “papa come eat” no matter where I am she will make sure I hear her. She brings me my boots and tells me bless you when I sneeze, so it’s pretty hard to pick a favorite. Her excitement over ripened fruit or vegetables is next level adorable.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
They count on me to be. I am the example for farming, and what and who a man is. It’s simple.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would have to consult my wife/business partner but more than likely for fencing and solar for rotational grazing, materials for chicken tractors for egg production and efficiency in spreading nitrogen. Silvo pasture for my cows and pigs. My dad is a master carpenter and use to work at Ace in Waterloo Iowa, so he has helped me build a great work shop and build up my tools. So mainly I need materials, a piece or two of machinery which is available at auction. Also a cold storage for produce/meat
