Hearing my son excitedly yell “daddy” whenever i get home from work or even just being gone for a little while. Seeing how excited he is when i say we’re going fishing or anything else, he loves being included in my hobbies. Hearing his countless “love you daddy” randomly throughout the day. Seeing his genuine smile for the smallest things, it really makes you appreciate the little things in life.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I want to be as good as my dad was. I want to show my son what it means to be a provider and a hard worker while also pulling your weight in the home. I want him to have a positive role model and a rewarding childhood and the only way that can happen is if my wife and I show him what that means.
