Being able to come home and see the smiles on their faces. To feel their love and happiness. To watch them learn and grow, even if thats the hardest part too. Life changes when you become Dad and it becomes so much more meaningful. It fuels me to be the best provider I can be so they can live an amazing life and become anything they want to be.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
A good, present, loving, and active father is a super power for a child. My two girls & my wife are my everything. I want to set a good example of what a good person looks like in the world. I want them to know how to love, be kind & respectful, to have fun, and treat people right. Showing up every day, even when I am tired or things are tough financially, shows them that I am always here for them, and that will give them the confidence to be great human beings in this world.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would invest a good chunk of it into the girls retirement accounts! Starting them young will set them up for success and that is all a Dad ever wants for his kids. I would use a small piece to take us on a vacation we so desperately need - 3 or 4 days in the Smokey Mountains! Lastly, I'd pay off debt and use the rest to get our business off the ground! We have an amazing children's book we want the world to see called "Why Not Me" & a mobile photography business. 25k would change our life!
