The look on your children's faces when they see you and know they can run to you for anything they need. The feeling you can tell they have when they get to do something or go somewhere with dad. The warmth in my heart seeing their eyes light up when I come home from work, or when I take them to go to a store they enjoy. Sometimes, just providing what they need gives me more satisfaction than any accomplishment I personally have.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
The lives of my children are too vitally important to be ignored, left alone, or abandoned. They need me more than I can even comprehend. Their upbringing is so crucial to forming who they become as adults. If I fall asleep at the wheel, or even so much as look the other way, it could be detrimental to them. I don't want to leave them without the love and care they deserve. They're too important to me and my wife.
How would you use the $25,000?
We are in the process of selling our home and moving into a new home. While we have much of it planned, expenses in this market are always so volatile and tough to predict. This would help accomplish that goal. I'd also like to pay my mother back for how many times she has helped my family out over the years. Ever since my dad passed away in 2017, she has been on her own figuring things out. I'd like to not only pay her back, but go further than that. Help her move closer to me and my family.
