The most rewarding part about being a dad is being able to provide, teach, and guide my children on the right paths of life. I also love how my kids look up to me. They think I’m Superman and that I can do anything. That confidence they have in me makes me feel good and happy to be a dad. It’s a fun, yet life changing experience.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because I want to prevent failure. I’ve never met my real dad. I grew up in a foster home. So when I had my own children, I told myself that I would be the best dad I can be. That I would always be there for my children no matter what. It’s been tough raising kids, but it’s worth it. Because I love them. And everyday hasn’t been sunshine, but I still work hard to show my kids that I love them and I’m here, to protect them. Even when they don’t understand.
How would you use the $25,000?
I would use the money to invest into our family businesses. We have several businesses in Mississippi and our family goal is to create generational wealth for our children. My wife and I are descendants of slaves and sharecroppers, so it’s a must that we work together to create a strong foundation and future for our children. This money would help us build a better future for our entire family.
