The best part about being a girl dad (X3), is watching them change and grow into beautiful human beings. We are raising the next generation of adults, and its our responsibility to love, listen, and lead them to the best version of themselves. The world may be unforgiving, but developing and strengthening their character before releasing them to it is a HUGE responsibility. I love observing, and watching how they learn, how they love, and how they leave others when they go.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Dad is the most important title I’ll carry to my grave. How I show up matters because lessons are caught, not taught. I know I have six eyes watching how I react when life gets hard, how I respond when I get it wrong, how I treat their mom, and how I love others. I won’t always get it right, but I want my girls to see a man who owns his mistakes, keeps growing, loves deeply, puts his faith in God, and is always there. My goal isn’t to raise perfect kids, but to model a life worth following.
How would you use the $25,000?
$20,000 would lift the burden of our debt, minus our mortgage. The other $5,000 would give us something far more valuable: time together. I have a senior in high school, a freshman in college, and an 8th grader. After 18 years of grinding to provide and keep us afloat, there hasn't been much left for family trips or adventures. My window with all three of my girls together is quickly closing. I'd use this gift to breathe a little easier and make a memory we'll carry forever. Time can't be earned
