The most rewarding part of being a dad is knowing I’m helping shape four strong, confident girls while creating memories they’ll carry forever. I make them jump in on projects around the house so they can learn, get their hands dirty, and feel proud of what we accomplish together. Even our weekend trips to our local Ace have become a tradition they love helping Dad pick out supplies, but I think the free popcorn is still their favorite part!
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I strive to be the best dad I can be because my four daughters are watching everything I do. I want them to grow up knowing what hard work, love, patience, and consistency look like. As a Marine veteran, I learned the importance of leadership and responsibility, and being their dad is the most important leadership role I’ll ever have. I want them to always know Dad showed up, kept his word, and gave them everything he had.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d celebrate with a new Weber, an Ego snowblower, YETI products for my wife, a pile of M18 batteries, and enough 10mm sockets to finally stop losing them! I’d use the rest for outdoor projects and plenty of pool chemicals to keep everything crystal clear. I’d also donate a portion to the Lucky Fin Project for limb-difference awareness. Most of all, I’d use it to create more hands-on memories with my four daughters and show them that the best projects are the ones we build together.
