Knowing that I'm making a real difference in my kids’ lives, not just by providing for them, but by being someone they can depend on. There’s probably something especially meaningful about seeing them grow, learn, become their own people, and realizing that some of who they become comes from the time, guidance, patience, and example I've given them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
This is the one role in life that I know truly matters. I want my kids to look back and know that I was there. Not just for the big moments, but for the ordinary ones too. You want to give them stability, teach them how to handle life, support them when they struggle, and be someone they can always count on. At the heart of it, I think it's less about being a perfect dad and more about wanting your kids to never question how much they mean to you.
How would you use the $25,000?
I’d turn the $25,000 into memories. We’d take a family trip, check a few things off our bucket list, invest some in my kids’ future, and use the rest to make everyday family life a little better. Because as a dad, the greatest thing I can give my kids isn’t stuff, it’s experiences, opportunities, and time together.
