Seeing our little one grow into a person and develop everyday. And more than that seeing the world through his eyes. The smallest thing, learning a new words, potty training, him walking to the other room and saying "poop!" A hug after a long day and him wanting me to read a book. I've read more books in these last two years than I have in the last 10, even though its usually the same three books. Being present matters more than being perfect. Helping him grow, I grow as well He's my best friend
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
I come from parents of the 90's and my parents worked a lot to help us get by. The catch phrase I heard growing up was "I'll give you a reason to cry". My son's only reason for that catch phrase would be because I put on never-ending story. I strive to be the best dad for not just my son, but for my wife too. To help relieve some of the pressures of the mom responsibility's because they aren't just "mom" responsibilities, they are ours, shared. I want us to all enjoy being a loving family.
How would you use the $25,000?
Set aside a portion of it in a savings account for the little man. Pay off debt, get a second car and probably a well needed vacation for us all. As a single income household I feel a lot of pressure at all times to be finically stable and this would catapult us in the direction we need. With finical security we would be able to have more fun together as a family and it would help me be around more rather than picking up shifts working late nights.
