Being a dad is being a teacher everyday. All I ever wanted growing up was a family. Now that my kids are adults watching them grow into great humans and taking the lessons I taught them and applying them to there everyday lives. People tell me how great my kids are and how good their parents are. I think the most rewarding part even today is how they are able to come to me and trust me with their problems and issues for the guidance that ultimately helps them.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My mother would would always say even up until she passed away that children never ask to be born we brought them here and it's our job to do any amd everything for them. So I live my life and parenthood the same I will continue to give these guys all I have until I can't give anymore. There appreciation for all I do is worth it. I made a promise to my parents upon losing both of them I will try to be as good as they were. Growing up we didn't have everything but we always had each other.
How would you use the $25,000?
To be honest we recently purchased a new home and it could use some upgrades. The home market in california is crazy so with mortgage it's been rought to even fix existing problems that were here upon purchase. Ive been fortunate to have friends and family members who help us when they can or when I can afford supplies. The kitchen pictures was a incident that happen and cost 5k which i had to take a loan for. So getting this place right or making it better with the basics. Again family first.❤️
