Watching my three kids grow into amazing people and knowing I get to help shape who they become is the best part of being a dad. I lead by example, teaching kindness, hard work, and never giving up. Being a great dad isn’t about perfection; it’s about showing up, being present, and giving them my best. After 26+ years serving my country, my greatest pride will always be the family I come home to. Being their dad is my greatest privilege, and I hope they always know how much they’re loved.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
My 26+ years in the military have taught me discipline, commitment, and the importance of leading by example. I want my kids to see that with hard work and determination, you can build, fix, or accomplish almost anything. Most of all, I want them to know they are loved, believe in themselves, and never doubt that Dad will always be there for them, no matter how old they get or where life takes them. I hope they grow up knowing that their biggest supporter will always be in their corner.
How would you use the $25,000?
If I won the $25,000, I’d put it toward something our whole family could enjoy for years to come. I’d love to build a basketball court/activity area for my kids, while also using some of it to create family memories through a trip or experiences together. I’d also put some aside for their future. For me, the best part wouldn’t be the money, it would be turning the opportunity into something my kids will remember long after the competition is over.
