Honestly, the most rewarding part of being a dad is watching my boys grow into great little men and knowing I’m part of their journey. Two aren’t biologically mine, but knowing I’m making an impact and that they feel the same love as my other kids means everything. Seeing them smile, try new things, and hearing them brag about me to their friends and teachers is amazing. But nothing makes me prouder than hearing others praise their kindness, behavior, and character.
Why do you strive to be the best dad you can be?
Growing up, I believed prison was my destiny because my father and most of my male role models were incarcerated. Then my Uncle Keith changed my path and taught me to dream bigger. When I heard my first child’s heartbeat, everything changed. My kids gave me purpose. They made me stronger, more disciplined, and mature. They saved me, and they never asked to be here. I owe them my very best. I love them beyond words
How would you use the $25,000?
If I was the winner 25,000 I would set aside 10,000 to go towards my nonprofit that I’m trying to start the other 10,000 will go towards
